Description

This investment should stimulate a systematic process of redevelopment of historic rural buildings and landscape protection, whether owned or managed by private or third sector entities.
Many rural buildings and agricultural structures, in fact, have undergone a progressive process of abandonment, degradation and alteration that has undermined their distinctive features and their relationship with the surrounding environment.

By restoring the rural building heritage, the measure improves the quality of the rural landscape by returning to the community an underused building heritage that is not accessible to the public. The heritage, thus returned to the community, can be reinserted into the economic and social fabric of the area, enhancing local particularities.

By Ministerial Decree no. 17 of 18 March 2022, the Autonomous Province of Trento has been assigned approximately 5.5 million euro - to be managed through a public notice - for the selection of the beneficiaries of the grant for the financing of restoration and enhancement works of the rural architectural and landscape heritage (minimum target number of 32 interventions).
