The Valle di Non cycle/pedestrian route provides an opportunity to get to know a special area of rare scenic beauty, located on the north-western edge of Trentino, on the border with Alto Adige: a plateau where nature and the skilful work of man have created a harmonious whole, offering tranquillity and wellbeing.

The route is divided into three main sections: the first begins at loc. Rocchetta, on the border with the Piana Rotaliana and takes the cyclist, through promiscuous stretches (ex SS43) alternating with protected stretches, to loc. Dermulo di Predaia; from here it is possible to reach the second section through promiscuous roads, which runs through the landscapes of the upper Val di Non. From Ronzone, the last section leading to the Mendola Pass, the border with Alto Adige, has recently been completed. The pass (1364 m.a.s.l.) is directly connected to the South Tyrolean town of Caldaro (510 m.a.s.l.) by one of the steepest funicular railways in Europe.

The cyclist crosses expanses of meadows and cultivated fields, enjoying 360° panoramic views of the surrounding mountains: the Maddalene Group, the Brenta Dolomites and the Catinaccio,

Between the bridge on the SS43 near Romeno and the village of Fondo, a scenic ring-route has been created, which crosses the plateau between agricultural areas and small villages: at the height of the hamlet of Seio, a bicigrill offers cyclists catering, assistance and information services.
