The Ciclovia dei Laghi (Lake Garda cycle route) starts from the shores of Lake Garda, near the mouth of the Sarca river (km 0.000), where the tracks coming from Riva del Garda and Mori (Ciclovia n. 8) converge: the well-marked route runs along the riverbank on the orographic right.
For over 5 km, you pedal through the quiet countryside, among cultivated fields, olive trees and acacia groves, following the bends of the river until you reach near Arco.
Here you cross the town where you can pause for visits and curiosities, then resume the route of the cycle/pedestrian path passing through the towns of Dro and Ceniga, skirting the Fies power station, the site of important cultural events, until you enter the almost lunar landscapes of the 'Marocche'.
Through the Cavedine branch-off and on the mixed route, not always easy and safe, to reach the Padergnone-Vezzano-Terlago stretch, it is possible to admire the peculiarities of Lake Cavedine, the magnificent shores of Lake Toblino with its castle, the artificial lake of Santa Massenza and Lake Terlago.
From Sarche, it is possible to reach Terme di Comano via the Limarò branch road, built on the site of the old provincial road close to the rock face.
