The Trento ring road project is included in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan - Next Generation Italy.The project concerns the construction of Trento's railway ring road, the variant of the historical Verona - Brennero line, in the section that crosses the city, and the construction of the new Trento Nord station of the Trento Malè railway line.In this framework, the aim of the project is to favour less polluting modes of transport, tending towards a progressive shift from road to rail freight transport.
