Description
The Urban Plan Management software (GPU) constitutes a modern IT tool to improve efficiency in the procedures of delivery, processing, verification, updating and visualisation of data and cartographic bases concerning urban planning in the Province of Trento, in its various components.
In accordance with the regulatory framework in force regarding town planning and for the purposes of uniformity and homogeneity of the provincial planning for the government of the territory within the Environmental and Territorial Information System (SIAT), the system for the Management of Town Plans (GPU) allows for the telematic and computerised delivery, verification and consultation of all the themes and information that make up an Urban Plan, including the relative technical implementation regulations.
The system consists of the following modules
- a first module, called front-end, is related to the interactive support phase for local authorities for the delivery of computerised data via Web to the Town Planning and Landscape Protection Service. This section of the software facilitates the input of the different types and formats of data, directing the user step by step to a correct integration of the data into the system;
- a second module, called back-end, reserved for the Technical Services of the Autonomous Province of Trento, concerning internal preliminary investigation procedures and aimed at improving the time taken to check the data delivered by local authorities and to express technical opinions;
- a third module, Webgis, allows the consultation of cartographic information concerning Urban Plans and the related technical implementation rules.
