Description
As part of the activities promoted by the Coordination Table for Waste Reduction and Surplus Distribution Policies, the 'Creative against waste' ideas competition was launched for the 2024/2025 school year, aimed at local schools with a graphic design address.
The initiative aimed to identify a representative logo for the Table, to be used in official documents, communication activities and on the institutional web portal. At the same time, the competition represented an educational and creative opportunity for students, stimulating them to reflect on the themes of sustainability, responsible consumption and the fight against waste.
Three schools took part in the competition, with a total of 29 participating students, who submitted 22 original graphic designs. The proposals were assessed by a multidisciplinary commission, which selected the winning logo based on the criteria set out in the regulations: creativity, consistency with the values promoted by the Table, communicative impact, clarity and adaptability.
We would like to sincerely thank the three schools - the Liceo delle Belle Arti 'Depero' in Rovereto, the Collegio Arcivescovile 'Endrici' in Trento and the Istituto 'Figlie del Sacro Cuore' - for their valuable commitment and for having involved a total of 29 students in this initiative. Their enthusiasm, creativity and active participation made the success of the competition possible, enriching the project with original and stimulating ideas.
The graphic proposal entitled 'Proposal 01', submitted by students Carlotta Fontana, Emma Franchi, Martina Furci, Christian Franceschi and Riccardo Sartori, emerged as the winner of the competition.
