Description
As of 1 October 2024, theobligation for companies and self-employed persons working at temporary or mobile construction sites to obtain a safety credit licence comes into force, according to Article 27 of the Consolidated Safety Act and its implementing regulation.
The safety credit licence is a qualification system for companies and self-employed workers in the field of health and safety at work.
The subjects required to possess the licence are, therefore, companies - not necessarily qualifying as construction companies - and self-employed workers who 'physically' operate on construction sites.
Subjects carrying out mere supplies or services of an intellectual nature are excluded.
Companies in possession of the SOA qualification certificate, in a classification equal to or higher than III, are not required to possess the licence.
