Community hospitals: strengthening intermediate healthcare and its facilities

The intervention envisages the activation of 8 Community Hospitals, i.e. short-stay healthcare facilities - equipped with 15/20-bed modules known as intermediate care - that perform an intermediate function between the home and hospitalisation, with the aim of promoting protected discharge for the functional recovery and autonomy of patients.
