Alzheimer's: Care at home and services in Trentino
What to do when the first signs appear? Who to turn to for assistance? How to create a safe environment at home for the elderly?
These are some of the many important questions we will address in the company of experts.
On this occasion, the book Alzheimer's at home, by psychologist and author Paola M. Tauer, and the Alzheimer' s Vademecum, edited by the Alzheimer's Association of Trento in collaboration with the provincial dementia plan table, will be presented. The Vademecum collects all the information on: prevention, diagnosis and care of Alzheimer's sufferers, other types of dementia, and assistance services in the Trentino region.
The meeting will be attended by Angela Pederzolli, a social worker from the Autonomous Province of Trento - Office for Policies in favour of non-self-sufficient people and Health and non-self-sufficiency policies service, Renzo Dori, president of the Alzheimer's Association of Trento, and Paola M. Tauer, psychologist and author of the book "Alzheimer's at home".
Daniela Drago, Fondazione Franco Demarchi trainer, will present and moderate the event.
