M.E.T.A. - European Mobility, Traineeships and Learning - Ed. 2022/2023

The M.E.T.A. project proposes to activate on-the-job training actions, combining - according to the alternance model - classroom training moments and moments of professional training, to be carried out in productive-organisational contexts abroad

General information

The project action is in line with the programme guidelines outlined in the ERASMUS+ VET Mobility Charter 2016-2020 and has been defined in coherence with the relevant "Internationalisation Strategy" of the Province, as last amended and approved by INAPP (January 2020). It is also an action which derives, becoming more structured on the basis of the experience gained, from the VET mobility project interventions carried out in the years 2017/2018 - 2018/2019 - 2019/2021 - and which acts on the needs of the labour market and professions in Trentino.

The project pursues the general aim of reinforcing non-formal learning opportunities and it is estimated that mobility will concern:

- from 10 to 20 young people with a recent diploma/qualification (fifth-year diploma or fourth year of vocational training) for a duration of 16 weeks

- 50 to 80 young people attending the 4th year of upper secondary education for a duration of 4 or 5 weeks

through the activation of on-the-job training actions, combining, according to the alternance model, classroom training moments and professional traineeship moments, to be carried out in productive-organisational contexts abroad.

The courses are aimed at pursuing the following specific objectives: to facilitate the entry of the project participants into the world of work with quality profiles, to improve the participants' technical-specific and transversal skills, to stimulate qualification in highly specialised and particularly innovative environments, to strengthen the participants' curriculum in terms of knowledge of a foreign language applicable in work contexts open to internationalisation, to provide certification and a portfolio of skills of European value.
