Responsibilities and functions
The Provincial Commission for Equal Opportunities was established in 1993 (Provincial Law 10/12/1993 no. 41).
The Commission has the task of promoting positive actions to support women to contribute with the same opportunities as men to the development of our society, to express their potential and creativity, to leave their mark and pass on their experience throughout life; It is therefore engaged on many fronts, ranging from training, to interventions relating to personal life in its many aspects (the relational, affective and sexual field, health, motherhood and fatherhood, family and culture), to working life (in countless sectors and at all levels), to political and social life, etc.
