With archaeology on the trail of the past. The Piana Rotaliana from Prehistory to the Roman Age

by the Soprintendenza per i Beni librari archivistici e archeologici. Archaeological Heritage Sector. Autonomous Province of Trento, 2010.

Description

This book is the result of an experiment carried out with two primary school classes in Mezzocorona and the Soprintendenza per i Beni librari, archivistici e archeologici (Superintendency for Book, Archival and Archaeological Heritage), and is mainly intended for educational use in Trentino schools. In fact, thanks to the knowledge that the identity of a community is built through the knowledge of its history and the interweaving of its relationships, this book was distributed to teachers and schools in the province. Divided into three parts - the peopling and the territory of the Piana Rotaliana in the Mesolithic and Neolithic eras, in the Metal Age and in the Roman age - it presents for each of them the operative-didactic portion, the result of workshops and outings in the area also with young 'apprentice' archaeologists.
