Description
Vigilio Inama (1835-1912) was a multifaceted man with many interests and great passions. An outstanding personality in the field of classical studies, in which he lavished much of his professional commitment, he devoted himself to many other fields of knowledge and action, from politics to social affairs to sport. The present publication originates from the meeting with scholars from various disciplinary fields organised by the Archaeological Heritage Office on 12 December 2012, one hundred years after Inama's death, in order to pay tribute to the scholar and to reconstruct his complex figure more precisely, including in the lesser-known and less documented areas of his commitment.
