What is agroecology? This question gave rise to the desire to create a cycle of seminars that would develop an inter-regional comparison between technicians and stakeholders in the wine-growing sector in order to elaborate a shared definition of agroecology, which could form the basis for the elaboration of project proposals aimed at improving the environmental, economic and social quality of the territories involved in wine production. The path of reflection unfolded in three stages that attempted to clarify as many different aspects of the issue at the centre of the debate. In this publication, the contributions of the experts who contributed to the definition of the concept of agroecology and the tools for its evaluation and promotion have been collected.
