With this volume, the work of cataloguing 15th-century printed books in Trentino libraries can be said to have been completed. For over thirty years, the Autonomous Province of Trento has been carrying out a valuable action for the protection and enhancement of antique books, both through restoration and cataloguing initiatives and through the publication of catalogues of library collections. This latest study - edited with scientific scrupulousness by Mauro Hausbergher, assisted by the expertise of Luciano Borrelli and historian Donatella Frioli, and with the collaboration of the Tridentine Diocesan Archive - describes 133 incunabula printed between 1463 and 1500. Accompanying the volume is an extensive series of indexes: in addition to the indispensable ones on authors, places, titles, etc., there are also those on typographers and chronology of the editions, as well as those specific to the bindings and the ancient owners or those who left traces of the use of the incunabula described.
