Description
The book describes and experiences 31 different forest situations, in a simple but scientifically correct manner, from the most famous and named forests in Trentino, extending over large areas, to small 'gems' of just a few hectares that particular historical, climatic or location conditions have shaped and made significant. Of each forest, one or more access routes are proposed, either via freely accessible public roads or via forest roads and footpaths, with an approach that aims to be both a discovery of the natural dynamics that guide the evolution of nature, as well as the signs of history and culture that permeate the structural essence and aesthetics of the forests, and an individual experience.
There are the forests of the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme, the Paneveggio violin forest, but also the "old and new Fiamena forest", the Busa del formai beech forest, the Ludrin primeval forest, the Clef and Maresse larch groves, the Pasubio mugo forests and many more.
