Description
Among the numerous publications on the world of bees and their precious foodstuff that is honey, this booklet stands out because it is aimed exclusively at primary school pupils. It is a useful tool to teach them how beekeeping, once an important item in the integration of the family economy, today contributes in particular to maintaining biodiversity in natural environments and to promoting pollination in certain forms of highly specialised agriculture. And while the new regional law (6/2010) helps to support beekeeping development, the Autonomous Province of Trento collaborates with the Beekeepers' Consortium of the Province of Pordenone, which finances various training and promotional activities.
