Description
Lighting our cities and streets at night allows us to feel safe, to drive and walk freely even when the sun has gone down behind the mountains.
This need, which has been met in the past by installations that were often not properly designed, clashes, however, with other equally important needs: to save electricity; to illuminate only useful areas; to allow us to admire the starry sky not only in the high mountains, but also from our villages. How can we reconcile such different needs?
