The travelling exhibition 'Olivi a confronto', born out of a passion for olive oil in the Upper Garda region, supports this publication that deals with the history, botany, landscape and cultivation of the olive tree and its product par excellence: Garda Dop extra virgin olive oil. Through a detailed and pleasant series of photographs, the production chain of olives, phytosanitary defence, the various agronomic interventions, harvesting, pressing, and the biochemical, organoleptic and health characteristics of virgin and extra virgin olive oil are described.
