Information available to those who want to reconstruct their family history and to interested scholars, concerning all those born in Trentino between 1815 and 1923. During this period, the task of civil registrars was entrusted to parish priests, who were already required by canon law to compile, among other things, registers of births, marriages and deaths. The records in the database, which number more than one million and are the fruit of a project that lasted several years, are taken precisely from these registers kept in the historical archives of the Trentino parishes and microfilmed during the 1980s.
