Description
The choice of German and English to compose this volume responds to the fact that the experimentation in the kindergartens of the Province of Trento is based on these two languages. The layout of the book reflects what can be found in schools: two languages that stand side by side, combine, enrich each other while maintaining distinct peculiarities, specificities and identities of each.
The games and routines presented here reveal that different languages have different sounds or even assonances, that one and the same object can have several names, but above all, they give us a taste of playing with a language and the pleasure of discovering its secrets.
The hope is that this collection of songs, rhymes, counters and nursery rhymes can accompany children's games in everyday life, and be a cue for teachers to make the many occasions of a child's growth special.
