Description
The aim of environmental improvement activities is to counteract the natural dynamics of these semi-natural environments, with the aim of preventing the loss of diversity at different levels of the ecosystem: from individual animal and plant species, to habitats and up to the landscape scale by ensuring the highest possible degree of biodiversity.
The black grouse is considered an important biological indicator of the environment in which it lives, being very demanding of its habitat.
This book describes environmental improvement measures in favour of the black grouse.
