This volume reports on the experimental project "Educating to gender relations" coordinated by IPRASE from 2011 to 2014 in collaboration with the Office for Equal Opportunities Policies of the Province of Trento, the Centre for Interdisciplinary Gender Studies of the University of Trento and with the support of the Education and Equal Opportunities Councillors of the XIV Legislature.

The experimentation was carried out in eleven secondary schools and involved about 700 boys and girls and 65 teachers in workshop activities of discussion and reflection. The aim was to foster the development of a critical sense with regard to gender dimensions. The book describes the aims, the characteristics of the project and the workshop activities implemented. After the experimentation, requests from schools to implement educational pathways on gender differences with pupils and teachers increased and, given the positive outcome of the activities carried out, the pathways were proposed to schools through specific calls for proposals by the Provincial Council.
