Responsibilities and functions
The site covers 9 hectares between the historic 1855 compendium and the new Be Factory, designed by archistar Kengo Kuma, in which companies, start-ups, research centres (CIMeC, COSBI, CeRiSM), the Green Building Council, the Habitech district, the inter-university degree course in Motor Sciences (UniTN, UniVR) and service agencies interact.
Under construction in the hub are the TESS-Lab, a network of laboratories dedicated to industrial research on infrastructures, energy storage systems and distributed energy systems, and the Open Science Park as part of the new Life Sciences Pole with cutting-edge laboratories, shared technology platforms, spaces for companies and co-working environments.
