Responsibilities and functions
The Association of Hoteliers and Tourist Enterprises of the Province of Trento is non-profit-making and has as its main aims
- To promote and implement agreements between associates for the study and resolution of problems of common interest.
- To promote the organisation of all associates, making their mutual solidarity and collaboration effective and safeguarding the moral, economic and social interests of the tourism sector.
- To represent the associates in the stipulation of collective labour agreements, to assist or represent them in the resolution of collective and individual labour disputes.
- To represent and protect the social and economic interests of the enterprises organised in it, within the general interests of provincial tourism, taking care of their growth and development;
- Maintain and increase relations with other trade associations, both territorial and national;
- Promoting the improvement of the professional qualification of members and the professional education of employees of tourist-hotel companies;
- Representing members in the stipulation of collective labour agreements, assisting or representing members in the resolution of collective and individual labour disputes;
- Gathering, processing and communicating studies, elements, news and data of a technical, statistical and economic nature regarding conditions and tourist activity in the province;
- Appointing and designating its own representatives in all councils, bodies, commissions and organs in which such representatives are required or where it is deemed appropriate in the interest of the category;
- Fulfilling any other duties or functions as may be decided by its Bodies or conferred by laws, regulations and provisions of the competent authorities;
- Represent, protect and assist the interests of members in relations with the Public Administration and public and private institutions, political, social, economic and trade union organisations, at provincial, national and international level;
- To represent the associates collectively in legal proceedings with reference to a collective and widespread interest.
