PROGETTO MANIFATTURA IN BRUSSELS ON MONDAY 23RD
Progetto Manifattura of Rovereto will be presented on Monday 23rd of January in the headquarters of the European Region Tirolo-Alto Adige/Südtirol-Trentino in rue de Pascale 45, in Brussels. This event will be attended by Vittorino Rodaro, Director of Brussels Office, and by Gianluca Salvatori, President of Manifattura Domani
Progetto Manifattura- Green Innovation Factory is an initiative promoted by the autonomous Province of Trento to transform the historic Manifattura Tabacchi (the building of the ancient tobacco factory) of Rovereto- inaugurated in 1854- in a centre for industrial innovation in the field of eco-sustainable housing, of renewable energies and of environmental technologies. In brief, it is a real estate renovation project aimed at the promotion and the boosting of a productive renovation process. The nine hectares of the interested area will host a cluster composed by enterprises, research centres, training structures an public service administration, aiming at the boosting of collaboration between these subjects and at creating a reference point for clean tech sector at a national and European level. Progetto Manifattura is the concrete example of the commitment of a territory, Trentino's one, which for years has been investing huge energies and resources on sustainable development issues. The project aims at giving new life to the ancient Rovereto's factory collocating it in an environment designed to inspire innovation and creativity, boosting sustainable growth principles always respecting and involving the environment, the society and the economy.
